India Post Introduces DigiPIN, a 10-Digit Digital Address, Saying Goodbye to PIN Codes

To replace conventional PIN numbers, the Indian Postal Department introduced DigiPIN, a 10-digit digital address system. DigiPIN pinpoints the precise location of your house or place of business, in contrast to the previous PIN system that spanned large areas.

This makes it possible for emergency services, such as fire departments or ambulances, to reach specific locations, even in rural or isolated places. Additionally, it improves the accuracy of e-commerce delivery.

Go to https://dac.indiapost.gov.in/mydigipin/home to obtain your DigiPIN.

You can get your unique 10-digit code, which is accurate within a 4-meter radius, by just clicking on your location on the map. DigiPIN, which was created by India Post in partnership with IIT Hyderabad, NRSC, and ISRO, is also usable offline.
